I'd love to receive a Thank You card like this one by Shelley Goff. From the colors she used to all the fun details, I think it's top notch! (The stamps and dies she used to make it are from TechniqueTuesday.com.)

I took a piece of decorative paper and cut it to 6-1/2" x 3-1/2". Then I scored it at 2-3/4". Next I marked the far right edge about 1-1/2" from it's top edge. I lined up the mark and the bottom of the score line on my paper cutter and cut off that right bottom corner. Then I proceeded to score the rest of that side of the paper. My next scores are at 3-3/8", 4-1/4", 4-1/2", 5-1/2" and 5-3/4". Fold the score lines into hills and valleys (accordion folding).

Cut one of them in half & adhere it to the bottom of one of the Top Note pieces - just adhering on the very outside edge only. We ran the top one through the Big Shot using the Northern Flurry embossing folder. Add a brad in the upper corner so it twists...

i like this idea for the announcement. White on white with embossed baby, then use my sizzix with blue and then white smaller, and then instead of colored animals, blue embossing powder feet and "its a boy" underneath. tape picture inside top of card and the stats on bottom inside.
