Paris Opera House. The Paris Opera House is thought to be one of the greatest pieces of architecture of its period. Located on the northern part of Avenue De l’Opera in the 9e arrondisement , it was founded in 1669 by King Louis XIV.

Lavirotte :: at 29 Avenue Rapp in the 7th arrondissement, very close to the Eiffel Tower. Built in 1901, this Art Nouveau masterpiece by Jules Lavirotte is quite striking. The detailed door was designed by sculptor Jean-Baptiste Larrive and sculpted by a variety of others.
