This book is sad, funny, heartwarming and FANTASTIC for learning a new language. I have read it in SPanish and French with an English version open at the same time to help me with any words I don't know. It's SOOOO good for learning vocabulary and grammar when you are at intermediate level with your foreign language. Try it - you won't regret it
Reading book 2 in this series. It's like I am Legend meets Contagion. The visionary creator of the Academy Award-winning Pan's Labyrinth and a Hammett Award-winning author bring their imaginations to this bold, epic novel about a horrifying battle between man and vampire that threatens all humanity. It is the first installment in a thrilling trilogy.
"Two For The Dough (Stephanie Plum Series #2)" by Janet Evanovich --- Technically, I read books one, two, and three of the series in the compilation "Three Plums In One," but I'm pinning them separately so the number of pins on the board is exactly equal to the number of books I have read in 2011. Ditto my earlier misgivings about the main character. At least in this one she gets Joe Morelli back for the last book's naked incident. Well done, girl. GOODREADS RATING: 3/5 Stars
WANT TO READ: The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton is a book "everyone" seems to have read but me. It is also a book I have been meaning to read AND a book that has been recommended to me by people with great taste- thank you Sarah Bessey, Anne Bogel, and Leigh Kramer for all the good book suggestions.
