Legend has it the ghost of a witch who lived in Hadley Road in the 1600s haunts this sometimes eerie country lane. She was reportedly executed in 1622 for witchcraft and residents insist that on cold, misty nights, her ghostly form returns.

The scariest story from the tour was at Holy Trinity Church which began as an orphanage for children whose parents had died of the Yellow Fever. In the summer of 1793, one-fifth of the city died from the disease. Not having the proper knowledge of germs and how they spread, the orphanage doubled as a burial ground for all the children who caught the disease here and died. They continue to haunt this place today.

River Styx Bridge - In the spring of 1899 a train engine jumped the tracks of the bridge mysteriously and the engineer was killed. Since then there have been reports of strange activity including a strange fog that suddenly appears and a number of car accidents where witnesses said the accidents happened when drivers were distracted by something falling from the bridge. Is the activity a result of the accident or something further back in the history of the community that surrounds it?
