"The Tripleta" is Puerto Rico's answer to the Cuban sandwich, but its better because it combines chicken, ham and beef. It comes on a slightly sweet roll similar to a French Baguette, slathered with ketchup, mustard and mayo then topped with thin crispy fried potato sticks.
Pastelon (otherwise known as Puerto Rican Lasagna) by The Noshery...I made this dish after seeing it on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives....it's do die for! Labor intensive but worth the work. I'm dying to try and make it using ground chicken & chicken chorizo since I no longer eat beef. Enjoy!!
