Katahdin sheep. A breed of domestic sheep developed in Maine and named after Mount Katahdin. A hair sheep, they shed and do not have to be sheared. They have a 200% lamb crop. Ewes weigh 220 to 160 pounds, rams 180 to 250 poundd.
I'm so glad you became a Farm Wife. You said you'd never marry a farmer. Well, were you ever wrong! You've helped raise everything from chickens and pigs to sheep and cattle. You've had many a piglet and calf in your house and even in the bathtub. I'm so glad you chose this life, cause I can't imagine a life without the farm. It's who I am. :)
