Ritual involved interring items: pottery vessels, human skulls, polished stone axeheads along with the bodies. Archaeologists believe these tombs built by farmers was a way to claim the land as their own. You could stand upright in tomb’s passage, chambers much smaller. When tombs were closed people put huge ‘blocking stones’ which barred entrance.

Está compuesto por treinta monolitos de más de cuatro metros de altura dispuestos en un círculo de 30 metros de diámetro y unidos por treinta dinteles; en el interior de este círculo hay cinco grupos de tres piedras (una de ellas actúa como dintel sobre las otras dos, verticales).
