These are another one of the recipes from New Mexico box -saved from 1960 and given to me by Mrs. Chase. The recipe card said from Mrs.Conway's cooking class. These cookies are so good and easy to make that you will want to make them to give as gifts this holiday season. I make these every year!
All Ready to Read! "Monster, Monster, What Do You See?" Emergent Reader Book
Adorable emergent reader perfect for Fall... or any time! 10 pages of predictable text and picture clues guide young readers through this fun book that focuses on the words "see" "me" (and could also be used for "what," "you," "at" or "do"). Kids get to read the color words on each page to figure out how to color the silly monsters.
I'm imagining all the unique monsters that would come from this activity. This could be tied to a study of shapes. Look at all those rectangles, squares, and circles. It could even be a counting shapes and writing activity when students have completed the craft. I'm excited about all the possibilities of this one!
