Pray. Wait. Trust. The first thing we need to do is usually the last thing we do when we’re faced with a problem. Pray! That’s the first thing we need to do. We need to go to God with it first. Then we wait and trust in Him that He hears our prayers and He will answer us. Let this inspirational print be a reminder of that. #pray #wait #trust

Writers Workshop - Student Conference "Deli-Style"

I’m a big fan of one-on-one conferencing with students as a way to connect with them and check for understanding. I use this “deli-style” format with students as a fun way to let them know it is their turn to conference with me. Each student is given a ticket (from 1 to how ever many students you have in class) at the beginning of class and meets me at the designated conference area in the room when they hear the “DING!” and their number appears on the projector screen. Kids love it!

Heavenly Father, help me to draw close to You this year. You are the giver of life, I surrender all to you. Help me to deepen my relationship with you through prayer, fasting and fellowship in Jesus name. Amen.

Knowing Who is in Charge

When God hands you a storm, you come out of it a different person, God Made the storm to change you for the better. You Must learn the lesson he taught you or the Storm will come larger and more powerful!

This is where I start my comeback, I will spend no more time asking God why doors have been closed because I'll be too busy praising God for all the doors that are about to open.

He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge Psalm 91:4
