President #9 - William H. Harrison (1773-1841) was the ninth president of the United States. Harrison was born on February 9, 1773, in Charles City County, Virginia. He was president for only 30 days in 1841. When he was delivering his inauguration, he caught a cold which turned into pneumonia and killed him in a month. Harrison had the shortest term of any U.S. president, and was the first president to die while in office. Harrison died in the White House on April 4, 1841.
