After reading about the new #sugar recommendation by @american_heart I was curious if my kids were under the recommendation...no more than 6 tsp of added sugar a day for kids ages 2-18 and kids under 2 NO ADDED SUGAR. While I packed their lunch I tallied the added sugar. My son had 4g (3G from 1 tsp jelly about 1g from 2 slices of bread). My girls had 1.5g.
