Richard Franklin Lennox Thomas Pryor (1940-2005) was an American comedian, actor, film director, social critic, satirist, writer, and MC. Pryor was known for uncompromising examinations of racism and topical contemporary issues, which employed colorful vulgarities, and profanity, as well as racial epithets. He reached a broad audience with his trenchant observations and storytelling style. He is widely regarded as one of the most important and influential stand-up comedians of all time.
BOB HOPE (1903-2003) - One of the greatest, if not the greatest, comedians ever! Love, love, love him! Was lucky enough to see him live at The Music Circus in Sacramento when I was a teen! Love how his humor was clean, and how he did so much for our troops!
