Nose art section of Tequila Daisy B-24J 44-40168 on display in a Swiss WWII museum along with one of its wheels. It crash landed in Switzerland on July 11 1944 on a mission to Munich with the 492nd Bomb Group. Ken Hatley's uncle Clyde Hatley was among the nine men interned that day. The nose art is a popular duplication of the work of Peruvian-born Alberto Vargas, perhaps the preeminent pin-up artist throughout the war years. #WWII
