When I retire.....at least part of my time!!! Even Wander Woman delights with the pleasures of home and needs them desperately at times.

So, forests aren't exactly original in DnD, but I feel a lot of DMs, even some whose DMing I absolutely adore, skimp on making them come alive rather than just dumping the PCs in a generic leafy green forest and throwing monsters or bandits or surprise fleeing messengers in their laps.
