Sopapillas 2 cups flour ¼ cup sugar 2 tablespoons baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup milk Sift all dry ingredients together and add milk. Knead, roll, and fry in oil. The thinner you roll them, the more they will puff up. I like mine a little sweeter, you can reduce the sugar to 2 tablespoons. Dust with powdered sugar for dessert, or top with chili, sour cream, lettuce, cheese, guacamole, lime juice and salsa for Navajo tacos.
