Japanese Wisteria Blooms. From late April to mid May is one of the most beautiful seasons in Japan, as the flowers of Fuji (Japanese Wisteria) bloom all over the country. Although there are several variants of the flower-color [pink, purple and white], violet is the most common and the symbolic-color of Mt. Fuji. Some places for visiting the Wisterias in bloom are Ashikaga Flower Park in Tochigi, and the "Fuji Tunnel" at Kawachi Fuji Garden, Fukuoka, Japan.
