Iraqs military reports bombing a convoy carrying Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. The group was headed to a meeting in the western Al Anbar Governorate close to the Syrian border. Eight ISIS senior figures were killed but al-Baghdadi did not appear to be among them. Full Story

Additional search and rescue efforts take place in the American city of Columbia South Carolina. The citys rainfall on Sunday totaled a record 6.87 inches in this 1-in-1000-year event. In South Carolina nine people are now reported dead in weather-related incidents and millions remain homebound.
