A good infographic on Deforestation. My students have been doing DNA barcoding to identify species of trees, and determine the native species that best sequester carbon dioxide. I thought this infographic did a good job of simplifying why deforestation is an issue worldwide.

Oh my goodness...I am in LOVE with this experiment idea!!!!! I can't wait until Earth Day and our Lorax unit!!!! :-)
