What type of campfire do you want? Fast heat and light? Use teepee construction – stand all your kindling and bulk firewood on end, like a teepee shape. The fire will burn upwards faster and brighter, but will use-up your firewood quicker, and is not the best design to cook over unless you are just roasting something on sticks, it will produce a lot of cooking coals quickly.
