A lovely mourning ring from the 1800's adorned with black enamel and 4 pearls. The enamel formed a "X" symbol in the front with 3 grayish and 1 mauve colored pearls set in the north,south,east and west direction of the cross. The border of the diamond panel and the shoulders of the ring has little bit of black enameling work too.
