Sasha Dolls...they were big back in the very early 70's.

Sasha dolls: Cora, Caleb and baby. I always wanted these ones. Sashas in general just have such beautiful, serene faces.

Sasha dolls were created by the late Sasha Morgenthaler (1893 - 1975), a Swiss artist and artisan. She was also a humanitarian and a keen observer of all the world's children. Her vision was to create dolls that represented and reflected the spirit of children of all races and cultures during their age of innocence.

"Sasha Morgenthaler (1893-1975) was a Swiss artist who started out making small animals and dolls for her children.   She also designed shop mannequins and made exclusive one-of-a-kind original dolls in her studio in Zurich starting in the 1940s with a small team of helpers"
