More children in the United States were diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in 2011 than in 2003. Researchers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently published the results of an investigation into the prevalence of ADHD among American children. In the eight-year period the researchers analyzed, the incidence of ADHD increased by 43 percent.
