L1M1AS3 - LANDSCAPE - SUNSET at ILUKA BAY - Auto Mode - Auto WB - ISO 200 - 1/125 sec - f/5.6 - Edited in LR. Lens 18-105mm at 22mm. Manually cropped out unwanted noise. Main editing Highlights -100 & Shadows +100 as the original shot was a silhouette. It clouds were so red/orange & lasted for such a short time.
Pink Sunset, ILUKA. Taken a while ago with my first DSLR a NIKON D31OO which I loved. Had no idea what I was doing but had to go out every spare moment to snap away with my new toy :) Settings 8.0sec, f/8, ISO 400. Tripod used. Many mozzies shared the evening with me also :/
L1M1AS3 - LANDSCAPE - SUNRISE at THE BLUFF - Auto Mode - Auto WB - ISO 200 - 1/125 sec - f/5.6 - Edited in LR. Having this mirrored reflection from the rockpool indicated how calm it was that morning. This was the 1st time I was able to capture the stripe formation in the cloud.
L2M2AP4-LIGHTROOM-GRADUATED FILTER. 2.5sec, f/16, ISO 125. Firstly applied graduated filter to foreground adjusting contrast, exposure to lift the dark shadows. Then applied Graduated Filter to sky adding intensity by using contrast, exposure & saturation. I enjoyed seeing the different effects achieved by using G F. I hadn't thought to use it in foreground before :)
L1M2AP2 - S MODE - NIKON D7000 - AUTO SETTINGS - Lightroom edited & imported, Tripod used. F/5.6, 8 sec. Sunrise at Coogee Sydney. When comparing the 2 SUNRISE images I used 8 sec exposure setting for a calmer view of sea. It also made the people in the background became more ghost-like.
