Queen Mary’s diamond tiara is decorated with a graduated frieze of styled honeysuckle. The central ornament is made to be detachable. It was made before or during Febuary 1914. HRH Princess Alice – Duchess of Gloucester was given the tiara by Queen Mary.
A gift from Napoleon Bonaparte to Marie Louise (his second wife and niece of Marie~Antoinette) on the occasion of their wedding. Made in 1810 by Francois Regnault for Etienne Nitot et fils of 79 emeralds and 1,006 diamonds, later the emeralds were replaced with 79 Persian turquoises when purchased by Van Cleef & Arpels in 1953.
