Edgar Allan Poe’s Boston -- At 15 Fayette Street, Boston, Mass., a plate-sized metal amulet with a relief of Poe adorns one of the buildings. According to a nearby handmade sign, the building is dubbed “Poe Condominium.”

#EdgarAllanPoe | The Poe family used this ladle in the Fordham, New York cottage in which Edgar Allan Poe; his wife, Virginia Clemm Poe; and his mother-in-law, Maria Poe Clemm, lived from 1846 until 1849. Mrs. Daniel C. Sands, whose grandmother-in-law had purchased the ladle from an auction held at the cottage, donated the piece to the Poe Museum in 1922.

Is this the only surviving photograph of Edgar Allan Poe's wife, Virginia Clemm Poe?
