MILAN – Ricardo Casas Design interprets the iconic Acapulco chair into an installation of light fixtures at the Mexico pavilion’s restaurant during Expo Milano 2015.When tasked with the nation’s pavilion at Expo Milano 2015, brand agency Liquen opted to pay homage to Mexico’s glamorous retro design era. Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, Edinburgh Designers: MKV Design Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, Edinburgh is set in a stunning location. Heathfield & Co supplied a range of lighting designs to the hotel and its restaurant ‘One Square’.

Flurry | Segmented curved sections of illuminated stainless steel are suspended to create an dynamic, yet elegant whirlpool effect. A vertical momentum carries our attention down the height of the installation, emphasising the space of the surrounding interior. A pronounced symmetry is achieved when viewed directly from above or below as the circular lines, previously only delicately hinted at, become complete.
