Cleaning sterling silver jewelry: Line a plastic or glass container with aluminum foil. Place silver jewelry on the foil making sure each piece touches the foil. Sprinkle baking 1T soda and 1T salt over and cover with 1c boiling water. Use a spoon to swirl the jewelry around until it is untarnished. (I did this and was amazed how fast it worked and how clean my sterling was!)
Homemade no-scrub jewelry cleaner that even gets rid of tarnish! Place jewelry in pan or bowl lined in foil with the shiny side up. Mix together boiling water, salt, baking soda and pour in. SLOWLY add vinegar. Let sit mins then rinse.
Keep one in the shower filled with a mixture of half vinegar and half Dawn dishsoap. Use it to wipe down the shower while you are in there and your shower will always be clean. I keep hearing that this is the magic formula! @ Interior Design Ideas
