Australian engineer personnel at Patrol Base Sorkh Bed in northern Kandahar province are working closely with the Afghan National Army to improve their skills in the field, through specialist courses and mentored operations. The teams include specialist Explosive Ordnance Disposal technicians and Explosive Detection Dog handlers.
