Our proud team... In total the project took just over five months, starting on 11th November and ending on 16th April 2014. The Estates team, 16 strong for this project, worked throughout the wettest winer on record since 1910. All bunkers have been improved and now provide you with a better choice of shot during your game of golf.

Starting the project... The Cheshire golf course bunker refurbishment project started on 11th November 2013. All golf bunkers were assessed individually and a plan was created on how to improve them taking into account the impact each had on the standard of game played. Each bunker was marked for the new shape it was going to take.

The previous bunkers... On the Cheshire gof course the old bunker construction was based on revetted links which had collapsed over the years making play difficult
