As a woman who travels and backpacks solo, stealth camping is important. I would add to (obviously) use a grey tent fly, or green, tan, or khaki. Also, if you're emerging from a trail at a road crossing, don't allow motorists to see you crossing the road alone. Wait until there are no cars. And don't even think about stealth camping near a road crossing, especially on the weekends. I guarantee, the local teenagers already know about that sweet spot you just found.
