Mount Fuji - I remember my dad's walking stick, with stamps from stations up to the top -- would love to "walk in his footsteps" one day...

ダイダラボッチ (Daidarabotchi) Daidarabotchi is a gigantic yokai responsible for making many cute geographical features in Japan. He was so big that his footsteps created lakes and ponds. In one legend, he wanted to see which was heavier between Mt. Fuji and Mt. Tsukuba, so he weighed them in a scale. He dropped the latter, splitting its peak.
