p125 Woman's cloak/cape dating from c1830's. Fabric - Falcon brown silk. Lining - Lichen green silk. Interlining of falcon glazed cotton beneath silk lining. Brown cotton wadding between cotton lining and outer silk. Cut - Full length. Cut with straight seams, the fullness pleated into neck.
p 121 1820-1825. Fabric - Sulphur yellow silk - satin bodice; skirt and sleeves of plain light silk with satin stripes. Lining - Bodice part-lined white cotton. Outer sleeve lined stiffened muslin fleece at hem. Cut - Waistline slightly raised. Bodice front cut in one piece with 'sweetheart' neckline and 2 bust darts. Centre-back opening extends into skirt. Back and bodice cut rather full. Curved neckline, the fullness eased in at neck and waist with drawstrings
