A response to "catcalling is flattering"< Being a shy person myself and more of an animal person, I don't really care for people or attention. Though there are still boys that get raped and sexually harassed like women. I am expected to make my life choices, always keeping in mind that marriage is the most important. - Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, TEDtalk #feminism

Some people say we don't need feminism anymore. (1) 1 in 4 women are STILL raped. (2) 87 out of 100 U.S. Senators are STILL men. (3) 5 million women STILL starve themselves to look "beautiful." (4) Women's health, freedom, safety, and reproductive rights are STILL threatened around the world.

Southernism. I haven't heard this one in a while! But, it was one of Mom's favorite sayings. Can't understand though, we were angels!
