Angel Food Cake This is everyone's favorite angel food cake recipe! Grandma used 1 t. vanilla, 1/2 t. almond extract, & 1/2 t. lemon extract (optional, Mom doesn't use the lemon extract) for the 2 t. vanilla. Grandma would measure the egg whites, using 1 3/4 cups, set out for 2 hours to come to room temperature (they whip up fluffier at room temperature). A Kitchen Aid stand mixer works great for this!
