Grow Herbs Indoors This Winter

Start a windowsill herb garden -- you can even do your cultivating in daring evening wear or comfy pajamas if you like./

This is our crazy container garden on our balcony. Apparently, we like peppers. allot. The crazy plant on the left is my pride, my Kentucky Colonel Spearmint, the original mint of the mint julep. I also have "chocolate" mint, which really does smell like its name. We have at least four or five kind of peppers, two kinds of tomatoes, lemon balm, several orchids, basil, a maple tree bonsai, some jade plants, thyme, rosemary, lavender, and sage. Go team balcony.

Plant a Container Garden of Cool Edibles

Too bad this isn't scratch and sniff! It's easy to plant herbs in containers to make a scented garden. Try rosemary, basil, lavender, oregano, and sage. Or treat your nose to all the delicious mint-scents, including chocolate, orange, peppermint and more.

Wedding Cake Nests

Wedding Cake Nests - I'm pretty sure this is the cake I made for my sister's shower years ago, though I don't remember using a box mix. However, scratch white cake isn't the easiest, so maybe I did! She still requests this cake. Literally, I am making it again this weekend because she wants it, which is why I looked it up. :3 No photo though :(
