Earlier my son Peter had read in Jeremiah 29:13 (NKJV) “You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” Now he had seen this promise spoken by Jeremiah come true in Cornelius’ life. He learned that God works to reveal himself to those that sincerely seek Him. I was so touched by the insight the Holy Spirit had given him.
1 John 5:20 (KJV) -And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

The Invisible Mom “ God sees you right where you are. I am reminded of the story of Hagar in the desert. Abraham and Sarah had forced her to leave and now she was alone with her young son in the desert. It is there, all alone, and presumably out of sight, when Hagar discovers she is never out of God’s sight. He is El Roi – the God who sees. He sees her right where she is even in her darkest moments. The God we serve is still the God who sees.
Careless soul, why will you linger, wandering from the fold of God. Hear you not the invitation? Oh, prepare to meet thy God. Careless soul, oh heed the warning, for your life will soon be gone. Oh, how sad to face the judgment, unprepared to meet thy God.
