There's nothing like a Grandma Moses painting to make you want to head over the river and through the woods, as in this winter scene of farmhouse, barn, and snow covered fields. Grandma Moses, or Anna Mary Robertson Moses (1860–1961), lived and farmed in upstate New York and began painting when in her seventies. After her discovery by a New York City art collector, her paintings were widely exhibited and reproduced. They remain perennially popular.
