This ring-necked duck was sitting on a log when it was rudely disturbed by two territorial red-eared slider turtles. Trying to ignore the hard-shelled bullies, he soon found one of them nudging him with its nose. The duck then got in a flap as the turtles backed off and plopped into the water. Photographer Nate Chappell captured the scene at Lakewood in Washington, America.
