Explore Greenway Devon, River Dart and more!

A view of the River Dart from the gardens at Greenway.

No visit to the English Riviera is complete without visiting Agatha Christie’s famous Greenway House and Garden, plus you can now arrive by steam train! Greenway Halt is a brand new stop on this wonderfully picturesque route – just board the steam train at Paignton or Kingswear.

One way to get there - an adventure in itself - is to catch a ferry across the River Dart, then hop on an ancient train, pulled by an historic steam engine.

The boat house at Greenway features as the scene of the crime in Agatha Christie's novel 'Dead Man's Folly'.

You can travel up to Greenway in a vintage 1947 country bus called Barnaby.
