After a two hour hike on the island of Mykines I truly felt like I was at the end of the world. Far across the sea to the West was Greenland, and to the East, Norway. At that moment I wanted nothing more than to make this little home my own.
Gásadalur Village in the Faroe Islands has a population of 17 people. The Faroe Islands are under the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Denmark, situated between the Norwegian Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, approximately halfway between Norway and Iceland.
