World War 2 - BRUINS, Derk Elsko SS Oberscharfuhrer Served with SS Volunteer Division "Nederland". On March 23rd 1944 during the Battle of Narva, he knocked out 12 Soviet heavy tanks. For this feat he was awarded the Knights Cross. He married a German girl after the War, and made Germany his new home.
