French toast style Monte Cristo Sandwhich: Place slice of bread down, top with cheese, ham, mustard (optional) more cheese. Place piece of bread on top. Dip in: 2 eggs (lightly beaten) 1/4 c. milk 1/2 t. vanilla. Fry in skillet until golden brown. Serve with maple syrup or sprinkle with powdered sugar and dip in jam.
