True

Our society is so careful not to offend anyone. We are so careful not to offend the gays or atheist. Yet we offend God with no worry. As I keep saying, political correctness is going to kill this country.

death is difficult. i find peace in this native american prayer. This quote courtesy of @Pinstamatic (http://pinstamatic.com)

This is so similar to the prayer I picked out for my mothers prayer card at her funeral. I never knew this was a Native American prayer for the grieving. Being part Native American, I see I picked the right words 💔

Remembering August Schellenberg - May he "Walk in Peace". I had the pleasure of meeting him at a Native American gallery in Dallas, TX. He wished me those words in an autographed photograph of his work on the movie Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee (2007). He was extremely proud of this movie and cried when scenes of the movie were shown. It was a pleasure to hear him speak.

John Hollow Horn of the Oglala Lakota tribe~ “Some day the earth will weep, she will beg for her life, she will cry with tears of blood. You will make a choice, if you will help her or let her die; and when she dies, you too will die.

This moved me for some reason. The words stirred something up in my soul.
