To make my version 1lb sausage, 2C Bisquick mixed with 2/3C milk, 1lb cheddar or pepperjack cheese. To make mix the bisquick and milk separately then combine with sausage and cheese. The traditional recipe calls for cheddar cheese but my dad is alergic and started making with pepperjack.
