This video outlines what happened in Illinois when gifted programs got cut. When you have students in your school say that they are hiding the fact they're smart, because they don't see the point in answering questions that are too easy, that is TERRIBLE. Penny Choice, an advocate, summed it all up for me: "Would you, in good conscience, ever cut programs for the mentally handicapped? No. And when "gifted" is just the other side of the same coin, how could you, in good conscience, cut that?"
I made this as a Thank You token. Shown here is the Front & Back. I purchased a bag of wildflower seeds. Scoop 1/4 cup into a snack baggie & inserted the business card sized instructions.
