This is a really beautiful Scottish Luckenbooth brooch, c.1970s-80s. The Luckenbooth is a Scottish love token (for more information on its origin, please see the About section of my store). The heart and crown are engraved silver tone, and at its centre there is a lovely moss agate heart. It measures 1 3/4 x 1 1/4 and has a rollover C safety clasp which is in good working order. A lovely item which is sure to be treasured.
Scottish love songs have their own special charm and they are popular year round. They are especially popular as part of Robbie Burns or Valentine's Day celebrations.
