Lauryn Hill - the only female rapper/singer I actually enjoy listening to. No longer in the game, her style left a mark that no one can erase. I'm still jamming to her Miseducation of Lauryn Hill album and her live album from MTV Unplugged. New Hip Hop Beats Uploaded EVERY SINGLE DAY http://www.kidDyno.com
Aretha Franklin, American musician, singer, songwriter, & pianist. Her repertoire has included gospel, jazz, blues, R&B, pop, rock & funk. She is known as one of the most important popularizers of soul music and is referred to as the Queen of Soul. Rolling Stone magazine ranked her #1 on its "100 Greatest Singers of All Time" list as well as the 9th greatest artist of all time. She has won 20 Grammys & became the 1st female artist to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Next to J.K. Rowling, she has to be my most favourite female idols, the sultry singing mistress herself, Miss Eartha Kitt, ~ "That's Miss Kitt to you" Talk about a woman with such a rich history, I would have loved to talk with her in person, but seeing her at Dimitriou's Jazz Alley in Seattle was unforgettable! To me, she's the epitome of sexy, sassy and elegant all at the same time.
