andrea.arch: stain remover: concoction of one part Dawn dish soap mixed with two parts hydrogen peroxide and some baking soda! Again with toothbrush and carpet scrubber, I attacked every square inch of car upholstery and it is COMPLETELY stain free! No joke. Test this out on a small, inconspicuous spot to make sure the peroxide does not bleach whatever fabric you're using it on.
PLEASE do NOT consume synthesized vinegar. Use only organic Apple Cider Vinegar in food. Use the cheap synthetic vinegar for all of the household uses listed. Also: you can get a good deal of the pesticides off non-organic produce by soaking them in a sinkful of water into which you add: 1/2 cup Vinegar (synthetic is fine for this use as you'll rinse it off), 1 Tbs. white Salt (ditto. White salt isn't for eating, but you'll wash it off), 2 Tbs. Baking Soda.
