This work is the 11th in a series of "Remnants", which were all inspired by very old, heavily patched and stitched textiles. I used Kaffe Fassett shot cottons and ikat fabrics, (which were created in conjunction with Oxfam, an international charity that champions fair trade, thus helping to support the poverty-stricken weaving villages in India and Guatemala where the cloth is produced). The threads are Sulky 12wt blendables.
