My Favorite Store Bought Reduced-fat Salad Dressings…For years I was completely disappointed in the reduced-fat salad dressings sold in supermarkets. They often tasted medicinal or simply unpleasant and I felt better off using a small amount of a high-fat dressing, or giving up on taste and using vinegar or fresh-squeezed lemon juice. Now I’m happy to say, I’ve tasted and used many delicious reduced-fat bottled dressings. Here's some of my favorites.
'Tis the season for gettin' cozy with yer slow cooker. Last night I threw a chuck roast in with some water (I'm out of broth) minced garlic sea salt and balsamic vinegar. Added chopped rainbow carrots to finish and this morning I've got meals for days. Fried some sweet potato rounds on the stove and made a cranberry-orange dressing for my salad out of my leftover cranberry sauce orange juice zest and olive oil. Happy Tuesday by brandnewshea
Gluten Free Orange Chicken. This is my favorite orange chicken recipe I've tried so far. Really good. I used sherry & rice vinegar instead of the white wine vinegar but otherwise followed the recipe and it was delicious. Served with coconut rice and steamed veggies.
